Inspiration

Our project was quite simply inspired by a desire to help our fellow students feel like they can do it. Productivity and procrastination are always present for students who work on deadline to deadline. In order to help alleviate that struggle we developed GoMango.

What it does

GoMango provides three tools to help a student go study. We provide tips to review when starting to study, for a student that might need to asses or make a game plan. Next we create a list of tasks that the student must complete with an interactive task list recorder. Lastly we create a Pomodoro timer, which uses the Pomodoro technique of studying by setting one timer for study, and after requiring a 1 minute break.

How we built it

We utilized Bootstrap and open-sourced projects using VSCode. We utilized HTML, CSS, and JS to develop our website.

Challenges we ran into

Most of our programmers are beginners, and we didn't have much experience with web development. This journey gave us so much insight programming and creating applications.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to create something that can be used with its desired functionality. We also are proud to create something and present an end project, without that prior experience and to be learning during the project development.

What we learned

We know now how to utilize each language to make an overall website. We also learned how to work as a team, and the project development process from start to finish.

What's next for GoMango

With a more lengthy timeframe we hope to make this project much more user friendly, and creatively designed. We hope in the future we can utilize the FIGMA markup to make the design more unique imagery on our website. We also hope utilize some other library like React, which could simplify our process.
