Inspiration
Paraguay has an immense historical and cultural wealth, yet it is often invisible to new digital generations. I was inspired by the psychology of traditional sticker albums and the success of geolocation games to answer one question: How can we incentivize people to rediscover their city while boosting the local economy? I wanted "learning" to be the currency for real-world rewards.
What it does
GoldHunter is an urban exploration platform that turns cities into digital collectible albums.
Users navigate to Points of Interest (POIs) where they interact with an AI Guardian (Claude) who teaches local history and validates their presence.
By overcoming cultural challenges, they receive fragments (cNFTs on Solana).
Upon completing a thematic album, users unlock real physical prizes (merchandise, products) at sponsored local businesses, closing the loop between digital discovery and physical benefit.
How we built it
We used the advanced infrastructure of Jorch Lab with a monorepo approach:
AI & Agents: We implemented Claude 3.5/4.6 via a MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to manage the Guardian's narrative.
Blockchain: We used Solana (Anchor/Rust) to issue compressed NFTs (cNFTs), ensuring scalability and near-zero costs.
Automation: We orchestrated the business workflow with n8n, connecting user location, AI reasoning, and blockchain minting.
Frontend: Developed with React Native (Expo) for mobility and Next.js + Magic UI for the brand portal (Business Hub).
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was genuine presence validation. To combat "GPS Spoofing," we designed a contextual validation layer where the AI not only verifies coordinates but also requires interactions based on the current physical environment. Another challenge was optimizing AI response latency to ensure a smooth, frictionless street experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have created an architecture that makes Web3 invisible. Users don't need to be crypto experts to collect their fragments; the technology simply works in the background. We also successfully integrated a solid B2B business logic (CPA per verified redemption) within a fun gaming experience.
What we learned
We learned that Autonomous Agents are the missing link to connect digital data with human behavior in the real world. We also delved into the efficiency of Solana's Compressed NFTs, allowing us to design a massive collection economy that would have previously been prohibitively expensive.
What's next for GoldHunter
The next step is the deployment of the GoldHunter Business Hub, allowing any SMB to "buy" a cultural route and sponsor fragments. We also plan to implement Temporary Airdrops for massive events and festivals, transforming the platform into a national-scale cultural marketing infrastructure.
