Inspiration

The idea for Golden Moments By N&G was inspired by the complexity and stress often involved in organizing special events. We set out to create a digital platform that simplifies event planning and promotion, while maintaining a refined and professional look. Our goal is to provide a seamless space where users can explore services, browse past highlights, and make bookings with ease and confidence.

What it does

Golden Moments is a multi-page event management website that showcases event services, company values, and a visual gallery of past moments. It allows users to:

  • Navigate smoothly between the Home, About, Services, and Gallery pages.
  • View a dynamic homepage with a slideshow that captures the essence of event themes.
  • Learn about the brand’s mission, vision, and team experience.
  • Explore the types of services offered, such as planning, production, and branding.
  • Get inspired by a curated collection of event photos.

How we built it

We developed the website using:

  • HTML for structuring the content across all pages.
  • CSS for styling, layout control, and responsive design.
  • JavaScript for dynamic elements like the homepage slideshow and navigation interaction.

The design choices were focused on maintaining clarity while delivering visual impact. We ensured that the website remains accessible and aesthetically consistent across all pages.

Challenges we ran into

  • Managing slideshow timing and transitions without relying on external libraries.
  • Ensuring the navigation bar was fixed and responsive on all screen sizes.
  • Maintaining a clean design across multiple pages without overcomplicating the structure.
  • Coordinating multiple HTML files with shared styles while keeping the layout uniform.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Successfully creating a responsive, multi-page site with a polished user experience.
  • Designing a seamless image slideshow with navigation controls.
  • Clearly communicating brand values and services through thoughtful content placement and design.
  • Achieving a consistent look and feel across all sections of the site.

What we learned

  • How to manage a multi-page website architecture efficiently.
  • Techniques to build interactive UI components like sliders and buttons using vanilla JavaScript.
  • The importance of layout balance, typography, and visual hierarchy in web design.
  • How to integrate functionality without compromising on design simplicity.

What's next for Golden Moments By N&G

In the future, we plan to:

  • Add a client login and event booking form to streamline reservations.
  • Integrate a contact page with dynamic location maps and inquiry forms.
  • Include an admin dashboard to manage gallery updates and client requests.
  • Optimize the site for faster loading and even better mobile performance.
