James runs a few hobby projects on a VM.
Tobias helps manage large-scale infrastructure for a multinational company.
We wanted to meet somewhere in the middle to create an easily set up, easy to use, highly configurable tool to help manage our infrastructures - small and large scale.
GoKiss provides a powerful CLI and web interface for managing a local server, or multiple remote ones.
The web interface doubles as a daemon and may run periodic tasks, or respond to triggers (e.g. GitHub Webhooks are supported, so that a repository push can trigger a deployment task).
We see major benefits over other CI tools due to the plugin architecture, dual interface, and ease of setup. We can also see GoKiss as being useful alongside (and interacting with) other popular tools.
