Inspiration

Ever wondered what it's like to trip? No worries, we got your back with this nifty Chrome extension that turns your boring webpage into a colourful adventure!

What it does

We offer you three trips, economy, business and first class! Going on a Trip simulates what it is like to browse the internet while on a Trip! Enjoy the good vibes and beautiful graphics!

How we built it

We built it with JS, HTML and CSS. We added it into a chrome extension.

Challenges we ran into

Some technical issues we encountered include the distortion of the original webpage formatting when introducing new elements (emojis, floating images, shaky screen), and the seamless communication between the popup and content scripts. We resolved this by respectively using coloured overlay filters and effect containment boxes etc., and attempted background scripting.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This project is an expansion of our original, more simplified idea in scrambling words. We integrated our creativity and (rainbowified) vision to combine a bunch of wacky, yet delightful, ideas.
