Inspiration
We were inspired by disengaging, lecture-heavy classes and how demotivated educators negatively affect our own academic experiences. We hoped to create more structure with the proper teaching methods in order to optimize quality and effectiveness.
What it does
Based on the topic, number of students, and duration of lesson, GoGoGogy will run through the various pedagogy models we have provided it and use the ChatGPT API to generate a lesson plan that an educator can review, download, and implement in their classroom.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, SCSS, JS, JSX, and React to build our website.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into include integrating our hardcoded pedagogy learning models with the user input and rest of the lesson plan to create our intended output. We also ran into issues hosting our website </3
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Yay we have a flow that gives us a lesson plan output :D
What we learned
We learned to adapt and problem solve quickly due to time constraint in order to get a functional product.
What's next for GoGoGogy
We hope to create a cleaner, more streamlined user experience and improve the model to build better lesson plans for students and teachers.
