Inspiration
We wanted to learn how to get better at stone skipping!
What it does
You can play/pause/reset a simulation of a skipping rock and change parameters like the angle, initial velocity, etc.
How we built it
We used Processing because it would be easy to render the stone and the water in real time. We also used controlP5 for the UI.
Challenges we ran into
It was our first time using Processing so we had some trouble solving a few issues.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Dealing with rotation and separation between the screen and the simulation world (for time and position).
What we learned
That we were a bit too ambitious at first!
What's next for Godot
Polishing the code and allow a more precise simulation.
Built With
- controlp5
- processing
