Using C# ASP.NET for the API, MongoDB atlas for the Quran and commentary data and a React frontend

Obtaining a US domain against the odds (and threats of leaking personal data) and ensuring our AI referred to data authentically

For once, building something with real potential to help people through their daily life

What we learned

C# with ASP.NET having never used them before, and MongoDB Atlas being new to NoSQL DBs, plus using gemma 4 with a custom RAG setup

We plan to incorporate a wider range of materials as data sources to provide stories with examples you can relate to on a deeper level to further enhance the insights provided
