Inspiration

Where do most of us go on public transport? Work, Home, the Shops, etc... So why not make it as easy as to get to those places as possible.

What it does

It is an iphone app where you enter your most visited locations. And then, whenever you run the app, no matter where you are in Detroit, we will calculate the route you need to take home.

How I built it

I built it as a native iPhone app using Xcode, and objective-C.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge was coming up with an easy to use UI, and doing constant calculations while not slowing down the API.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Coming up with a reasonable looking UI that works quite well.

What I learned

Calculating routes is hard.

Wanted to add bike routes, add in crime data to give people warnings about locations,
