"GoCOVID-Press" Product Prototype
Inspiration
When myself and Arun have to remind and demonstrate to our 3 year old son every-time on hand washing steps, Arun come up with the idea of what if we have a product which will ensure proper hand washing so that millions around the world will be benefited during this pandemic time.
What it does
It's a small reusable device which can be adhered to any hand wash bottle so that when ever a person press the nozzle
- A voice over will guide the person on the proper steps of hand washing
- A LED will flash for 20 seconds through out the voice play
- This will ensure hand wash is done for 20 seconds with proper hand washing techniques. This device will be powered with a button cell.
How we built it
This is still in proof of concept stage and we haven't made the real product.
Challenges we ran into
- Design of the structure of the device so that it can be used with any type of hand wash.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- This product can be developed in a low cost way so that it's affordable to everyone.
- This product is reusable
What's next for GoCOVID-Press
- Make it production ready
- Can be customized more like adding language selection, connecting with virtual assistant, changing timer etc.
