Inspiration
The inspiration for this project came from the game "Zork". We were really into the idea of making a turn-based RPG game since we all share a passion of playing games.
What it does
It follows a player that travels across many locations to fight vast foes from goblins to trolls.
How we built it
We built it using Python.
Challenges we ran into
What we wanted to do for the project and how we could make it a reality. Also, figuring out how to handle conditions in battle and how to set proper randomized values to the enemies to make combat more interesting.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Something we are proud of was the combat system implementation.
What we learned
We learned how inheritance works between classes and how to critically about what features should go where and how to condition many sets of decisions in the game.
What's next for Doblin Dimension
Doblin Dimension may add more villains and even sound effects during battles!
