Inspiration
Sometimes it can be difficult to do the math in your head at 1 in the morning on when would be a good time to fall asleep. Missing classes in the morning isn't good, so we set out to build a website that would fix these issues.
What it does
Goat To Sleep takes in the time of the user's first class, as well as how long it takes them to get ready in the morning, and does the math to determine when would be the best time to fall asleep so that the user gets only complete sleep cycles (multiples of 90 minutes).
How we built it
We used Visual Studio code and GitHub using HTML.
Challenges we ran into
We were unable to directly connect to a user's Workday page or other calendar application, so the user has to input that information themselves. Building a working website proved to be more difficult than expected.
What we learned
We learned how to use Github as a team, HTML, and how to make a simple website. We also learned that there is a lot more to learn about coding.
