Inspiration

Every year, we make resolutions. Big dreams, bold visions. But life gets loud, and to-dos take over. I've realized how quickly life can fly by — and before you know it, another year ends without your goals achieved, even though you were busy the whole time. The to-do apps and productivity apps that are currently available - do not make this connection between daily tasks and the big picture explicitly and, effectively. This inspired me to build Goalscorer. Goalscorer helps you reconnect with what actually matters — turning daily tasks into stepping-stones toward your true vision. Because productivity shouldn’t be about just doing more — it should be about doing what moves you forward. Goalscorer was designed and developed to help people achieve their goals and vision!

What it does

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Balancing simplicity with depth — it was a challenge to keep the app lightweight but still meaningful enough to feel motivational and not just like a basic to-do list.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We addressed the universal struggle with goal achievement mostly utilizing bolt.new in an advanced manner. Creating a working end-to-end experience in such a short time — from concept to functional product. Making productivity feel fun — users don’t just check off tasks, they “score goals.” Staying true to the core concept and delivering a clean, focused MVP that’s already getting great feedback. Goalscorer successfully demonstrated how technology can bridge the gap between daily actions and life aspirations, creating a compelling narrative that resonates both technically and emotionally with users.

What we learned

Bolt.new is incredibly powerful for rapid front-end development — but combining it with tools like Supabase unlocks even more. Gamification doesn’t require flashy animations — just the right feedback at the right time. Building around user emotion (like motivation or momentum) can be just as important as building around features. Clear UX around scoring and goal-setting goes a long way in making users come back daily.

What's next for Goalscorer

We plan to: Add custom goal categories so users can track across multiple areas (e.g., health, work, learning). Introduce social features like “team challenges” or sharing weekly scores with friends. Implement reminders and nudges to keep users engaged during mid-week slumps. Integrate AI goal suggestions based on past behavior and performance. Launch mobile app versions for android and apple. Goalscorer is just getting started — we believe it can become the go-to tool for turning goals into a daily game people actually want to play.
