Goal Manager

Often people will get tired and lose motivation due to decision fatigue. My idea is to automate simple goal and homework decision-making to help people preserve their motivation and energy.

Inspiration

Making decisions is hard and time-consuming. Additionally, once you make so many decisions in one day, you become unable to make more decisions.

How we built it

Using Manifest 3, javascript, css, and HTML, I attempt to build a chrome extension that manages tasks and goals and makes simple decisions for you based on time and mood as well as other factors like tiredness.

Challenges we ran into

This is basically my first time using Javascript and it is my first time using HTML and CSS as well as my first time using Manifest so learning everything was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It's... mildly functional.

What we learned

A whole lot of HTML, css, javascript, and a half-finished chrome extension.

What's next for Goal Manager

Finishing implementing the rest of the functions so I can use it in my everyday life and maybe publish it at some point.
