Goal Guardian

Inspiration

• Within the vagueness of broken experiences, I thought that one of the greatest broken experiences life can offer is being broke itself. So, with this knowledge, I think that an app that allows you to budget and track your budgeting was the best approach to this problem.

What it does

• This app allows the user to input their bank's name and email address and use that email address to obtain real time receipt records of their banking receipts.

How we built it

• I built this via the usage of Open AI website builder platforms for UI purposes and Cursor to aid in building the logics for the website whilst also using AI to build the logic.

Challenges we ran into

• Connecting the frontend to the backend
• Assessing the necessary API, data flow and overall data structure

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Reaching near completion on the Fetching email modules along with possibly syncing the email and transaction data.

What we learned

• The relationships between the backend and frontend of web development
• Improvements on various understanding of time constraints in coding
• Proper application of various compiler or builder tools and how to navigate them.
• Various methods of deployment

What's next for Goal Guardian

• Possibly an expansion of Goal Guardian's database whilst also inclusion of more AI powered features to further enhance email fetching for proper receipts.
