Inspiration :

Research shows that if you write down your goals and make them more specific chances are more likely to achieve them than somebody who sort of wanders around thinking

What it does:

Helps you to plan your goals in a smart way
Maintain your balance sheet with complete information of your assets and liabilities
Helps in calculating and planning the investment amount and duration with numerous formula present

How I built it:

Using the technologies - HTML5, CSS, PHP, SQL Server

Challenges I ran into -

It was hard to get the time of team members because of heavy project workload, still team could manage to complete their task in a brilliant way by working late hours and on weekends.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of -

We are proud that we could convert our idea into a working model with so many ups and downs. A great team with various skill sets came together to make this happen

What I learned:

What's next for Goal Genie:

We are working to introduce below new feature

Insurance - It will help user to choose best health and term insurance plans available in market
Tax Saving - It will suggest user with all the available instruments present in market where user can save money by investing in right option
Mutual Fund- Application will share the top 5 mutual funds in various category( i.e. Large Cap, Multi Cap, Mid Cap etc) where user can select best mutual funds as per their Goals
QnA - It will consist possible FAQ to help user in answering their queries related to investment, financial terms, steps for enrollment and eligibility for investing in various market instruments
