Inspiration:

We wanted to make learning about sustainability fun and easy for kids while showing them how they can use teamwork and innovation to create a better future.

What it does:

GO SDGs is a board game where players solve real-world problems tied to the 17 SDGs by choosing the most sustainable solutions. It also introduces players to how technologies like AI and collaboration can be applied to address these challenges.

How we built it:

We designed the board and cards using Canva, incorporating vibrant visuals and easy-to-understand instructions. The game was tested with kids to ensure it was engaging and educational.

Challenges we ran into:

Simplifying big global issues into fun and relatable challenges was tough. We also had to creatively integrate concepts like AI and collaboration into the game in a way kids could grasp.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We created a game that’s both educational and fun, empowering kids to learn about sustainability, teamwork, and the role of technologies like AI in solving global issues.

What we learned:

Play is a powerful way to teach sustainability. We also learned how to connect complex topics, like AI and SDGs, with simple and relatable ideas for kids.

What's next for GO SDGs:

We plan to add new challenges that showcase emerging technologies and real-world collaborative solutions. We also aim to partner with schools and organizations to teach more kids how they can make a difference in addressing the SDGs.
