MasonMapper is a comprehensive, AI-powered academic planning tool designed to streamline the process of creating personalized study plans. Built for PatriotHacks, MasonMapper leverages advanced GenAI to help students seamlessly navigate their academic journeys by creating customized plans of study (POS), ensuring all course requirements are met, and schedules are optimized.

MasonMapper empowers students to:

Select Courses: The Course Selector agent recommends courses based on the student’s major, interests, and preferred electives.
Validate Prerequisites: The Prerequisite Checker ensures that all required prerequisites for selected courses are met and suggests modifications if needed.
Optimize Scheduling: The Schedule Optimizer organizes the student's classes each semester to align with credit requirements and course availability.
Validate Study Plans: The Plan Validator checks for completeness, credit requirements, formatting, and appropriate elective selection.

With MasonMapper, students can receive a full academic roadmap that incorporates required courses, electives, and the best pathway for their educational goals.
