Most online calculator websites are loaded with intrusive ads, require mandatory sign-ups, or track user data. We built GM Calculator to provide a fast, clean, and completely free alternative where users can get instant results directly in their browser without distractions.
What it does
GM Calculator is a privacy-first suite offering 41 free calculators across four core categories:
- Marketing: ROAS, CPC, CPM, CAC, and conversion rate tools.
- Finance: Compound interest, loan repayment, profit margins, and ROI.
- Health & Fitness: BMR, TDEE, body fat percentage, and ideal weight.
- Math & Education: Percentage calculations, GPA, statistics, and unit conversions.
Every calculation runs locally in your browser with zero page reloads, zero ads, and zero data tracking.
How we built it
- Frontend: Built using Next.js and React for high performance and smooth UI rendering.
- Styling: Styled with Tailwind CSS for a fully responsive, clean design on mobile and desktop.
- Deployment: Hosted on Vercel for fast global CDN distribution.
Challenges we faced
Structuring 41 distinct calculation algorithms while maintaining clean architecture, instant responsiveness, and high formula accuracy across diverse categories (marketing vs. health math) was a major focus.
