Inspiration
The inspiration for this tutorial started from the availability of limited resources to help beginners get started with Render passes and use the feature to add realistic glowing, trail and shader effects to their filters, thus giving them a new challenge to go more creative with their Spark AR filters and engage their audience in this lockdown!
What it does
This tutorial helps aspiring Spark AR creators understand the basics of Render passes and build a glowing AR effect which creates a light trail whenever the glowing object is moved.
How I built it
The tutorial was built using the Spark AR platform

- Simplifying the tutorial for the beginner crowd
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
- Creating a simplified Render passes learning experience for the newbies in the Developer Circles and Spark AR community
What I learned
- We learnt to explain complex concepts in a simplified fashion
- We felt content after being able to create a resource that could be helpful for a wider set of audience
