Inspiration
We believe those who have been through sexual and domestic abuse. We want to help those in need get beauty products that will help them feel empowered.
What it does
It connects beauty influencers to a donation network for their lightly used or new items to be able to donate said items to sexual and domestic abuse shelters.
How we built it
We built Glowcal's website using the react framework!
Challenges we ran into
This is our first hackathon which was quite overwhelming!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to create our website in a short amount of time and spent a lot of time concepting! Our branding is very soft, which is important with our target demographic.

We had to think of how a distribution network would work, which was honestly quite difficult!
What's next for Glowcal: Donate + Empower
- Looking into revenue sources other than monetary donations to sustain Glowcal
- Roll out in one popular beauty influencer markets to test out the donation system.
- Eventually roll out a volunteer network across the United States that will accommodate for donations from beauty influencers around the world.
