Inspiration

Skincare advice is often too generic or marketing-focused. Glow AI was inspired by the need for a personalized and trustworthy skincare companion that anyone can access from their phone.

What it does

Glow AI analyzes user input through either a quick questionnaire or selfie scan to determine skin type and concerns. It then provides daily skincare tips, personalized routines, and AI-analyzed product recommendations tailored to each user.

How we built it

We built the mobile app using React Native for the frontend and integrated Hugging Face models for skin analysis and personalized recommendations. The UI features a home dashboard, daily tips section, and smart product review hub.

Challenges we ran into Making AI run efficiently on mobile. Ensuring accurate skin analysis with minimal data. Designing a clean and intuitive user journey.
