Many people remain excluded from parts of the digital economy because they prefer cash, do not have convenient access to online payment methods, or have concerns about online payments.
The Solution
Global O2O Commerce Infrastructure proposes two separate systems.
System 1 — Offline Retail Access for Paid Digital Subscriptions
Customers can visit participating telecom or local retailers, pay in cash, and purchase eligible digital subscriptions through the retailer's existing authorized telecom recharge, POS, billing, and distribution infrastructure.
System 2 — Built-In Offline/Cash Access for Existing Online Commerce
Existing e-commerce, food delivery, grocery, ride-booking, and other eligible platforms could provide supported offline or cash payment options while keeping their existing apps, products, logistics, pricing, and customer-support systems.
Why It Matters
The goal is to connect more people to the digital economy without forcing everyone to use the same payment method or change the platforms they already use.
This is a proposed business and infrastructure model that would require technical validation, partnerships, security testing, regulatory review, investment, and pilot projects before implementation.
