Inspiration

Our family has worked for news-media companies - we are very media-savvy. To us, quality media are firms such as “The Wall Street Journal,” “Financial Times” and Nikkei. Why? Because they have the hardest, toughest audiences in the world - one serious error/flaw, those news-people lose their jobs, STAT. Very demanding work.

What it does

Information quality is essential. Proposing Gemini-based product that compares quality between media (e.g., WSJ v. FT, WSJ v. NYT). Ex: compare verbs, adjectives, adverbs, differences in detail.

How we built it

To us, only highly experienced news-media professionals could conceive and design. That is, having torn apart complicated stories, and compared the versions in different publications (e.g., NYT v. WSJ v. BBC) - the “vibe.” Actual build: experimenting with Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT. If selected, we would seek much better programmers. Also prepared to “go it, alone.”

Challenges we ran into

Under-funding Not a programmer - progress slow

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned how to use Gemini productively. Per singer Paul Simon, it has been “groovy.”

What we learned

Again, we learned how to use Gemini productively. Per singer Paul Simon, it has been “groovy.”
