Inspiration

We noticed our friends and family struggling to discover new things while travelling which we believe should not negatively change how anyone's well-deserved vacation goes.

What it does

This led to our creation of a global platform dedicated to shine spotlights on small, local business located in tourist hotspots.

How we built it

We leveraged AI tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, React, Claude, SQLite, etc.

Challenges we ran into

Ai's were not working well together until we intricately transformed how they collaborate with each other which led to the smooth workflow seen in our website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In the relatively short timeframe given, we are proud to say we have implemented an idea we noticed in our daily lives into technology and the creation of our website which has numerous benefits along with strong potential.

What we learned

We learned that though AI is a great tool and useful for so many things, we still cannot fully rely on it as we have to check its work and understand alongside it.

What's next for Global Link

With more time we’ll add interactive cultural maps, AI-driven itineraries, and smoother business onboarding so communities worldwide can self-curate their cultural listings.
