Global Funding Platform: Where Ideas Find Their Tribe
"Connecting people who want to change the world with the ideas that are making it possible."
The Opportunity (The "Why")
There is an imbalance in the world:
- Thousands of impact projects are born every day in garages, universities, and communities — but they never reach the people who could support them.
- Millions of people want to contribute to something bigger than themselves — but don't know where to find causes aligned with their values.
- Purpose-driven capital seeks to generate return and impact — but the noise makes it difficult to discover the right opportunities.
The problem is not a lack of good intentions. It is a lack of visibility.
The world's best ideas are waiting to be discovered. People eager to help are looking for where to put their energy. Only the bridge is missing.
The Scope: From Micro to Macro
This platform is not just for tech startups. It is for any project that needs resources to generate impact:
Individual Needs
- The carpenter who needs a saw to start his workshop
- The student who needs a laptop to finish her degree
- The artisan who wants to buy materials for their first collection
Communities & Education
- The rural school that needs an internet connection
- The community kitchen that wants to expand its cooking capacity
- The neighborhood library looking to renew its books
Local Infrastructure
- The town that wants to build a square
- The health center that needs equipment
- The cooperative that wants to install solar panels
Emergencies & Solidarity
- Families affected by natural disasters
- Communities rebuilding after a disaster
- Verified humanitarian aid campaigns
Innovation & Science
- The inventor with a prototype that can change an industry
- The medical research project that needs funding
- The biotech startup with a solution for a real problem
Investment with Return
- Projects seeking strategic partners with pre-agreements
- Scalable ventures offering equity
- Impact real estate or industrial developments
The common denominator: Someone has a legitimate need, and somewhere there are people willing to help. They just need to find each other.
The Solution (The "What")
Global Funding Platform is that bridge.
An ecosystem where three types of people meet to create real impact:
The 3 Changemakers
| Actor | Who they are | Their Superpower |
|---|---|---|
| CREATOR | The one with the need or the idea | From the neighbor needing a tool to the scientist with an invention. Everyone deserves visibility |
| ALLY | The power of the crowd | Provides validation, diffusion, and micro-contributions. It is the social thermometer that a cause resonates |
| PARTNER | The investor with vision | Has capital and experience. Seeks projects where their contribution generates return, impact, or both |
Together they form a virtuous cycle: The Creator proposes, the Ally validates, the Partner empowers.
How It Works
For Creators: Visibility + Guidance
You upload your project, and our platform analyzes it. But here is the difference:
We don't reject you. We help you.
If your project needs improvement, the AI guides you step by step:
- "Your description could be clearer. Try explaining the problem you solve."
- "Adding photos of the team would increase supporter confidence."
- "Your budget is not detailed. We suggest breaking it down like this..."
When your project is ready, it receives a Trust Score that communicates to potential supporters why it is worthwhile. You don't compete for attention — you compete on merit.
For Allies: Discovery + Peace of Mind
Explore projects organized by cause, region, and impact. Support with what you can — $5, $50, or simply by sharing. You know that every project went through a continuous improvement process.
For Partners: Intelligence + Efficiency
Access professional tools:
- Investment Memos that summarize opportunities and risks
- Intelligent Matchmaking that connects you with projects aligned to your thesis
- Private Deal Room to negotiate directly with creators
The Match: Connections with Meaning
The problem with other platforms: infinite scroll. Thousands of projects, no intelligent filter. You waste hours looking for something that interests you.
Our solution: The Match.
How it works for Allies
When you register, you tell us what matters to you:
- What causes move you? (education, health, environment, culture...)
- What regions interest you? (your city, your country, Latin America, global)
- What type of projects do you prefer? (urgent needs, innovation, communities)
The platform learns from your interactions. If you supported 3 rural education projects, it will show you more of those. The feed personalizes to you.
How it works for Partners
It goes deeper. You configure your investment thesis:
- Sectores of interest (tech, agro, health, energy...)
- Investment range ($5K - $50K, $50K - $500K, etc.)
- Type of return expected (equity, loan, strategic donation)
- Risk tolerance (conservative, moderate, aggressive)
- Project stage (idea, prototype, traction, scale)
With that, the AI analyzes verified projects and presents a custom ranking: "These 5 projects have 85%+ compatibility with your profile."
The Result
You don't search for projects. The right projects find you.
And on the other side, the Creator doesn't have to beg for attention. If their project is solid and well-presented, the platform automatically connects them with the people most likely to support it.
The Community as an Engine
The platform is not just a tool. It is a social network with purpose.
The main page is a living feed where:
- You see projects taking off
- You celebrate community achievements ("The school in Oaxaca reached its goal!")
- You discover causes you didn't know existed
- You connect with people who share your values
And most importantly: the community makes the platform evolve.
- Users suggest improvements
- Success stories inspire new projects
- Allies become creators, creators become mentors
- The ecosystem grows organically
We didn't build a platform for people. We built a platform with people.
The Chain of Favors
Here is the magic: the beneficiary becomes the benefactor.
And this happens in two ways:
1. Direct Impact — They return to the platform
No one forces them. But it happens naturally: the one who received help wants to help others.
- Maria got her sewing machine thanks to 43 allies. Today, every month she supports with $10 projects from other entrepreneurs like her.
- Don José rebuilt his house. Now he is an active ally of 8 projects for families affected by disasters.
- The founders of the startup that closed its round allocate part of their profits to fund innovation projects on the platform.
The one who received, wants to give. Not out of debt, out of gratitude. The platform makes it easy: one click, the amount you can, and you are already part of someone else's story.
2. Indirect Impact — They transform their environment
The benefit transcends the platform and generates ripples in the real world:
- Maria not only gives back on the platform — her workshop employs 4 people from her neighborhood.
- The coffee cooperative not only prospered — now 50 producer families have stable incomes.
- School 47 not only has internet — its students teach technology to seniors in the community.
- The medical device we funded has already saved 200 lives in rural hospitals.
The Multiplier Effect: Maria's business benefits her employees, customers, and suppliers. The school trains the generation that will create solutions for problems we can't even imagine today. Every successful project generates ripples that reach much further than we can measure.
It is not charity. It is investment in humanity. Today's beneficiary is tomorrow's engine of change — inside and outside the platform.
The Technology (at the service of impact)
We use Gemini 3 Pro — Google's reasoning AI — not as a judge, but as an invisible mentor:
| What the AI does | How it helps |
|---|---|
| Analyzes projects | Not to reject, but to suggest improvements |
| Assists the Creator | Interactive chat to guide them and improve their project step-by-step |
| Generates Trust Score | Not as a barrier, but as a credibility guide |
| Creates Investment Memos | So partners can make informed decisions |
| Performs Matchmaking | So the right connections happen |
AI does not decide who deserves help. It simply makes visible what was previously hidden and guides each creator towards their best version.
🛠️ Tech Stack & "How we built it"
We built a robust, typed, and atomic system from scratch to support this vision:
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React + TypeScript + Vite (Responsive, Mobile-First).
- Backend: Node.js + Express + TypeScript (REST API, Atomic Transactions).
- Database: PostgreSQL (Relational Integrity, ACID).
- AI Core: Gemini 3.0 Pro API (Multimodal Analysis + "Thinking Layers").
- Storage: Cloud Storage (Document Persistence).
- Deployment: Railway (Backend) + Vercel (Frontend).
Architecture & Challenges Overcome
- True Multimodal Integration: We combine PDFs (Whitepapers) and Base64 (Images) in a single prompt so Gemini has the full context of a project.
- Fault Tolerance (Graceful Degradation): If the AI API fails or hits rate limits (Rate Limiting 429), the system doesn't crash. It queues the project in
pending_manual_reviewand applies an intelligent Auto-Retry strategy. - Data Integrity: We use database transactions to ensure verification results and status updates happen together. No orphaned data.
- Type Safety: Zod + TypeScript ensure that what enters the API and what leaves the DB is always consistent.
🏆 Accomplishments we're proud of
(This section answers the "Accomplishments that we're proud of" field in DevPost)
- ✅ Complete AI Verification Pipeline: From file upload to risk analysis in <60 seconds.
- ✅ Real Innovation: We use Reasoning AI (Gemini 3 Pro) to think like an investor and mentor, not just summarize text.
- ✅ Impact & Scalability: Architecture ready for cooperatives and global funding. The system is language-agnostic.
- ✅ Dual Interface: Personalized dashboards for Creators (focus on improvement) and Investors (focus on metrics).
The Human Impact
Imagine for a moment that this works:
- Maria in Guatemala gets the $200 she needed for her sewing machine. Now she has a business.
- School 47 in Chaco finally has internet. 200 kids can do their homework.
- Don José in Peru rebuilds his house after the earthquake thanks to 847 people he will never meet.
- A team in Chile develops a medical device that saves lives. A VC from Spain was the missing partner.
- The town of San Martín has its square. Neighbors gather on Sundays for the first time in years.
Every funded project is a story. Every story is a life that changed.
That is what is at stake.
