The problem

When you’re trying to land your first software engineering job, it’s difficult to know which skills employers actually ask for. Career advice can be generic, and job descriptions often list more technologies than you know which to prioritize.

What Glassbox does

Glassbox analyses public software job advertisements and counts the skills employers request.

You can explore job-market data, scan your CV, and compare your existing skills against those appearing in real job descriptions. Glassbox helps you see where your skills align with employer demand and which areas you may want to explore further.

Who it’s for

Glassbox is built for computer science students, recent graduates, self-taught developers, bootcamp graduates, and career switchers preparing for software engineering roles.

How it was built

Glassbox combines a web application with a job-data collection and analysis pipeline. It processes public job listings to produce job-market insights and connects those insights to a CV-scanning experience.

The philosophy

Glassbox doesn’t tell you what to learn or where to apply. It gives you evidence to make those decisions yourself.

We show, you decide.
