Inspiration: Current events involving/in Ukraine, AirBNB
What it does: A website to provide housing for Ukrainian refugees, and allow people to host housing and see safe spots
How we built it: Using HTML5, CSS to make a website. Coded in VS code. Presentation and concept was made in google slides.
Challenges we ran into: Designing the website, finding the correct information we need for the business model we were following, as well as effectively presenting our project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: The host/refuge form on our website. The animations and overall content of the form has the essence of a professional application form.
What we learned: How to more efficiently develop and design websites using HTML5 and CSS
What's next for Glacier Hackathon Project: Polish our website - work on design theory and colour theory to have a bigger visual appeal to the general public so that we may attract more consumers and build a positive social media presence
