Inspiration
We wanted to help other people give back, and one way we can do that is helping them organize their own Drives (like a food drive) and helping them spread the word.
What it does
Users can login and create detailed drives with names, descriptions, contact info and an editable list of items that is then shared to our home page.
How we built it
We used the MERN stack with BootStrap Styling.
Challenges we ran into
For one of our team mates, this was their first Hackathon as well as their first time making a web app, it was difficult, but I think we did a good job.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of how many features we got completed such as, having MongoDB up and running, the sign up/login pages, the drive submission form, along with it's editable list and finally the display of all the drives we have on the database.
What we learned
We learned a ton about React and also how difficult it is to style.
What's next for All Drive
We have on page left that we didn't get to complete in time for the submission (but maybe for the final deadline) That helps users share their Drive on different platforms with a simple, but effective photo with details of their drive. We also had an additional feature planned where you can see a progress bar detailing the status of the drive towards completion.
