Inspiration

We want to contribute to social good by helping raise funds for worthwhile social causes, at the same time, tapping into millenials' desire for social relevance.

What it does

This platform aims to promote a culture of giving among millennials by allowing them to earn donation credits for their chosen causes through our exclusive donation + discount coupon and in-app activities.

We've developed our prototype and have done some user interviews

What I learned

That people have different reasons for giving. Also, we've learned from the recent calamity in the Philippines and now the global pandemic that there is a need for a platform to systematize giving for disaster response.

What's next for Givest

We are now developing a web version of the platform first so that we can launch and contribute to the current fundraising efforts for Filipino frontliners and poor families.
