Boredom can be a major issue, especially during quarantine. Give Me Entertainment, can give you something to do, or, it can give you an idea of what you might want to do.

Motivation

During quarantine, many people have found themselves bored. In order to keep a level of enthusiasm, I wanted to make a website with multiple tasks for people to do, as well as recommending new things to try out. 😄

List of sections

In this website, there are different sections for each category. These include:

• Music
  • In this section, the top tracks from Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer are listed
• Games
  • In this section, you can play a game embedded from Wanted5Games
• Cooking
  • In this section, you can press a button to get a random recipe
• Puzzle/Riddle
  • In this section, you can do a puzzle (or recommend a riddle which might be added)
• Netflix
  • In this section, the top Netflix shows of the year are given through youtube videos
• Other Shows
  • In this section, the top show from popular streaming platforms are given through youtube videos
• Chat
  • In this section, you can contact me via email to leave feedback on the website

At the top of the web page, you are greeted with the welcome section, introducing the user to the website.

In the next section, if you click on the name of the category, you will be taken to that section.

This is what the music section looks like. All of the other sections are similar.

At the bottom, there is a section for if a user would like to contact me.

Additional Notes

• Make sure ad blocker is turned off.
  • In order to play games in the games section, ad blocker must be turned off.

Framework

I used Atom, a text editor, to develop my website.

Programming languages include:

• HTML
• CSS (with Bootstrap)
• JavaScript (with a little jQuery!)
