Inspiration

The inspiration for "Give a BabyName" came from the joyous task of choosing a baby name. We aimed to create a web app that simplifies and adds creativity to this process.

What it does

The web app generates unique baby names based on user preferences such as the name of parents, grandparents, and star sign, nationality providing a curated list to make the naming journey enjoyable.

Challenges

Integrating and harmonizing data sources, real-time updates, and ensuring a seamless user experience were challenges we navigated during the hackathon.

Accomplishments

We're proud of successfully creating a functional and user-friendly app within the hackathon timeframe. The integration of cultural influences and personalized name generation are standout features.

What we learned

The project enhanced our skills in PartyRock for its variable uses of conversational AI, chatbots, creative assistants, etc.

What's next

Future plans include expanding the name database, implementing user accounts, and refining personalized suggestions based on user feedback, making "Give a BabyName" a global resource for expectant parents.
