Inspiration

People interacting with Web3 applications often face unnecessary friction before they can even begin. Wallet connection flows are frequently confusing, support is disconnected from the application, and administrators have very little visibility into user activity. I wanted to build a cleaner experience that brings together authentication, wallet management, user history, live support, and administrative notifications into one modern platform. The goal wasn't simply to connect a wallet—it was to make the entire onboarding experience feel smooth, trustworthy, and practical for both users and administrators.

What it does

GitDapps is a modern Web3 onboarding platform that provides a complete wallet connection experience. Users can securely connect their wallets, view their connection history, and receive a smoother onboarding experience through an intuitive interface. Administrators receive instant GitHub-based notifications whenever a new wallet connects, allowing activity to be monitored in real time. The platform also includes integrated live support to help users whenever assistance is needed.

How we built it

GitDapps was built using modern full-stack web technologies. Built With Next.js React TypeScript Tailwind CSS MongoDB NextAuth Web3 wallet integration GitHub API REST APIs Vercel The application combines frontend and backend logic to securely manage authentication, wallet connections, persistent user history, live support, and administrator notifications in a single workflow.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing a workflow that felt simple to users while coordinating multiple services behind the scenes. Another challenge was ensuring that wallet authentication, database storage, GitHub notifications, and live support worked together reliably without making the user experience feel complicated. Balancing usability with technical functionality required several iterations throughout development.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Built a complete production-style Web3 onboarding flow. • Successfully integrated wallet authentication with persistent history. • Implemented administrator notifications through GitHub integrations. • Added built-in live support to improve the user experience. • Created a clean, responsive interface that works across devices. • Delivered a project that demonstrates both frontend and backend engineering skills.

What we learned

This project reinforced that great software isn't only about adding features. The real challenge is designing systems where multiple technologies work together seamlessly while keeping the experience simple for the user. It also strengthened my experience in full-stack architecture, API integrations, authentication, database design, and building production-ready workflows.

What's next for GitDapps

Future improvements include: • Multi-chain wallet support. • Enhanced analytics dashboard for administrators. • Push and email notifications. • More advanced user activity insights. • Additional security and authentication features. • Continued refinement based on real user feedback.
