Inspiration
Inspired by the "Frankenstein" category of Kiroween 2026, we wanted to stitch together traditionally disconnected developer tools into a unified, seamless automation pipeline without the overhead of heavy backend engineering.
What it does
GitBridge AI acts as an intelligent automation bridge between GitHub repositories and communication channels, instantly translating complex webhook telemetry into clear, human-readable notifications.
How we built it
Built utilizing Kiro's spec-driven development environment, leveraging custom agents and steering documents to rapidly scaffold the API event listeners and action handlers.
Challenges we ran into
Handling asynchronous webhook payloads cleanly while maintaining low-latency event forwarding across distinct API rate limits.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully configuring a functional, low-code automation bridge with a fully compliant /.kiro configuration structure under tight hackathon conditions.
What we learned
How effectively Kiro's spec-driven workflow accelerates multi-API integrations compared to traditional manual coding.
What's next for GitBridge AI
Expanding support for additional communication channels and custom event triggers.
