Branch turns studying with an LLM into a map instead of a chat log. ▎ ▎ Every chat tool gives you one long transcript — ask a tangent and you've polluted the thread forever. Branch makes your conversation a tree: jump back to any earlier answer, ask a different follow-up, and you've forked a new branch. Each answer is generated from only the ancestor chain of the node you're standing on — so "summarize what we covered" gives a genuinely different answer on the bits branch than on the Unicode branch. Same question, different position, different truth. ▎ ▎ Built entirely in Jac — the conversation tree is an object-spatial graph, and a walker physically climbs from your current node up to the root to gather context before each answer. No transcript-stitching, no manual context management: the graph structure does it. It also proposes forks (spawn), cross-links related nodes (link), and shows your open threads when you return. ▎ ▎ Chat tools give you a transcript. Branch gives you a map — and the model's answer depends on where you're standing in it.
