Inspiration

Have you ever have a meeting feeling confused about what was actually discussed and what are you supposed to do next. In multidisciplinary teams , developers, designers, managers, and stakeholders often do meetings together but focus on different priorities. Meeting summaries are generally provide too generic overview. This inspired us to build Gist360, an AI-powered meeting assistant that transforms one meeting into multiple role-specific summaries. Instead of producing one summary for everyone, Gist360 generates tailored summaries for managers, developers, and designers, helping teams understand decisions, align on priorities, and take action more efficiently.

What it does

Gist360 accepts either:

•⁠ ⁠A pasted meeting transcript •⁠ ⁠A transcript file •⁠ ⁠An uploaded meeting recording (audio or video)

The meeting is first transcribed, then analyzed to extract:

•⁠ ⁠Key decisions •⁠ ⁠Action items •⁠ ⁠Open questions

Using these structured insights, the AI generates summaries tailored for different audiences:

•⁠ ⁠📈 Manager •⁠ ⁠💻 Developer •⁠ ⁠🎨 Designer

How we built it

For the frontend, we used React (Vite) and CSS, for the backend we use Javascript.
