Problem and Solution

Gender equality is a human right, but our world faces a persistent gap in access to opportunities and decision-making power for women and men. Globally, women have fewer opportunities for economic participation than men, less access to basic and higher education, greater health and safety risks, and less political representation. Because of this, it causes Gender Inequality. My solution to this is to create a safe space community to talk about their experiences and thoughts so that they will be empowered and they would realize that they are not alone in this world, there are more other women who feel and experiences the same way. This will give us more confidence and hope that women will eventually have the same rights as men.

What it does

It's a chat website wherein you can freely share your thoughts and experiences. It will help women realize that they are not alone and they are not the only ones who feel the same way. Its main purpose is to empower women.

How I built it

It's mainly made with react.js and for styling, I just used pure CSS.

Challenges I ran into

The lack of time is the most challenging for me from doing this project. I only had a few hours left when I joined the hackathon but that didn't stop me from not pushing this project

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud that I have successfully made it the way I wanted it to be in just a short period of time.

What I learned

I have learned more about react.js and how to make a chat that doesn't use any APIs or databases. Most importantly is that I should never give up despite all the challenges I was facing. I also learned how to be independent.
