Girls Connect

Inspiration

This project was inspired by a real-life incident. I am Adithi and I was born and brought up in India. I moved to the US two and half years before. I was in 8th grade by then when I went to school, friend or study groups were already created and I found it hard to connect with my peers. Speaking with personal experience, I saw boys getting along easily but tough for girls. It is also hard to interact with people online during the pandemic

What it does

So this is a website that will help connect girls with similar interests and city/state areas.

How we built it

We had attended the HTML workshop last week and found it easy to use the website/tool called Qoom to create our website

Challenges we ran into

We all were in different time zones and collaborating was hard. We all were beginners and some didn't know much about HTML

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to complete basic level website

What we learned

We learned some formating, tag lines, or keywords

What's next for Untitled

We are going to develop our website's styling and forum
