Inspiration
My girlfriend once made a script to move her unsavoury images which contained a specific string in the filename from one directory to another. I took the idea and expanded on it, to create a more generalized program.
What it does
Girlfailure takes an input of a starting directory, then an input for a keyword, and an input of a final directory. It takes these inputs and uses a shell command to move files containing the keyword in the file name from the starting directory to the final directory.
How we built it
I crammed it after my college studies
Challenges we ran into
Lack of time ...also filenames with spaces (Now fixed!) ...also hurdles with Windows file system
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It works... Mostly...
What we learned
I learned that I hate the Windows file system
What's next for girlfailure-py
Adding support for filenames with spaces Added support for filenames and directories with spaces!
