A Girls Guide 2 Finance is a game created to increase financial literacy in girls of all ages. This game was made as a fun and interactive way for people to learn about finance concepts through games that simulate real world situations. Choose your character and explore the island as Mentor Blob guides through the mini-games covering various topics.
Inspiration
Finance is not something that comes naturally for most people. It can also be a boring topic that is not appealing to others. But, with “girl's guide to finance,” it’s made easy through games that apply to real-world situations.
What it does
This game allows you to choose your own character and explore the finance island which includes education on various finance concepts such as blockchains, credit score, and the federal reserve. This is done through minigames.
How we built it
We used Python, VSCode, and Cursor to help us develop the mini games of our
Challenges we ran into
There were many errors that came up when we were creating our code. We also needed to convert one of our coded files into Python as well because we needed to have the same language in order to integrate it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our UI designs incorporating digital art made by our team members. We are also proud of being able to comply with the time constraint that we had.

How to integrate various features to create a final product that integrates everything together.
What's next for girl's guide 2 finance
We want to implement more mini games and also make sure that we are able to teach more variety of concepts that are useful in real life. This would require an expansion of the map or various maps. Another feature that could be implemented is a currency system that can then be used for investing, spending on items, etc.
