This project was inspired by the concept of aging as a natural, beautiful part of life. I wanted to explore a narrative where a girl interacts with her elderly self, showing that growing older isn’t something to fear but a journey to connect with and appreciate.

What it does

Girl Records With The Older Version Of Herself is an AI-generated short that visualizes a tender interaction between a young girl and her older self. The story highlights self-acceptance, reflection, and the continuity of identity across time, using animated visuals to convey warmth and connection.

How we built it

I used Higgsfield Popcorn to generate consistent images of both the young and elderly versions of the character, Grok to animate the scenes and bring movement and emotion to life, and CapCut to edit everything together with careful pacing and transitions.

Challenges we ran into

Maintaining visual consistency between the girl and her older self.
