GigPlug

Inspiration for GigPlug stemmed from the simple idea that sometimes, all one needs is an extra dollar in their pocket. GigPlug bridges this gap by offering a platform where individuals can easily find short-term, day-to-day gigs to boost their income. Built using PHP, MongoDB, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, GigPlug provides a seamless user experience, complete with ID verification, customer reviews, and revenue tracking. Despite facing challenges in developing the user login interface and integrating user databases, we're proud to have overcome these hurdles, resulting in a functional and secure platform. Through this project, we learned invaluable lessons about web development skills, database management, and effective teamwork. Looking ahead, our goal for GigPlug is to transform it from concept to reality, refining and expanding its features to better serve both gig seekers and employers in need of quick, reliable assistance.
