Customer Communication Inspiration Our use case inspiration is the common occurrence in any class or situation with a presentation; the presenter has an image on the screen with important information, and instead of writing down handwritten notes, the participants in the room take out their phones and take pictures of the screen. Not only is it distracting, the quality of those photos are often really bad. Our solution provides a remedy in this use case, and adds many other useful features to help the experience between presenter and participant. What it does It shares the Presenter’s screen and allows the participants to write notes and to have a clear screenshot of the teacher then allows the participants to download the notes connected to the screen shot. It allows students to send messages to the teacher. It is also on a live server. User Aesthetics How we built it We build it in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and we used sockets to send data from one website to another. Creative Problem Solving Challenges we ran into We had difficulty wrapping our minds around how to build a web app that allows sharing between users. It was also hard to allow the server to connect to the other computers The styling was surprisingly difficult Accomplishments that we’re proud of Building websockets that successfully integrated into our site and allow us to connect the 3 different site online and to share info between teacher What we learned We learned a lot about web sockets, the ins and outs of JavaScript, and how frustrating CSS can be sometimes
