Inspiration
We wanted to create a robot that could analyze colors and patterns in real time, making it useful for applications like sorting, design recognition, and interactive robotics.
What it does
Gigabot is a color-detecting, pattern-recognizing robot that can identify and respond to different colors and patterns, making it useful for automation, education, and creative applications.
How we built it
We used a combination of computer vision, sensors, and a microcontroller to process color and pattern data, integrating machine learning techniques for improved recognition.
Challenges we ran into
Fine-tuning the accuracy of color detection and pattern recognition was tricky, especially in varying lighting conditions and complex backgrounds.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built a working prototype that can reliably detect and differentiate between colors and patterns with high accuracy.
What we learned
We gained deeper insights into sensor calibration, and the challenges of real-world robotics applications.
What's next for Gigabot
We plan to enhance Gigabot’s capabilities with more advanced AI for better pattern recognition, expand its real-world applications, and improve its adaptability to different environments.
