Inspiration
We live in a meme-driven world, where a funny image can go viral in seconds and yet there's no way to objectively judge meme quality. People rely on likes and comments, but what if an advanced AI could analyze your meme’s humor, tone, relevance, and format, and give you instant, unbiased feedback?
What it does
- Upload a meme image.
- Our AI evaluates it on various meme metrics (humor, format, relatability, clarity).
Users receive:
- 1–10 meme rating.
- A short summary of feedback.
- A technical analysis of meme quality.
You can re-upload and iterate your meme game, making every meme better than the last.
How we built it
We used bolt.new to quickly bring Meme Judge to life using simple commands and AI prompts.
- Designed the UI using drag-and-drop tools and prebuilt blocks.
- Used prompts to analyze meme captions and structure the feedback.
- Logic was handled using Bolt’s visual workflow and low-code triggers — making it fast to test and launch.
Challenges we ran into
- Designing AI prompts that could judge memes with a sense of humor, but still feel accurate.
- Making sure feedback didn’t sound too robotic or generic.
- Getting the image upload and preview system to feel smooth and instant.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Shipped a working product with meme scoring, feedback, and re-upload flow in a short time.
- Feedback loop actually helps users understand meme quality.
- The UI feels clean, fast, and fun to use.
What we learned
- Bolt.new dramatically reduces the friction of building full-stack apps
- Humor is hard to measure, but AI can get surprisingly close when guided with good prompts.
- UX matters — especially when you're building something playful like a meme tool.
What's next for Meme Judge
- Add weekly meme challenges with leaderboards.
- Create a meme battle mode where two memes compete and the AI picks a winner.
- Let users share their AI meme scores on social media.
