Inspiration

The idea for GiftFlare was born out of love for thoughtful gifting — the kind that feels personal, handmade, and full of heart. In today’s fast-moving world, it’s easy to fall into the trap of impersonal, mass-produced gifts. But the most memorable ones are those with a story — something created by a real person, not a machine. We wanted to build a space where: Small businesses feel empowered to share their craft Buyers can discover meaningful gifts (even last-minute!) Gifting feels emotional, intentional, and inspiring

What it does

  1. Lets sellers around the world upload handmade products with behind-the-scenes videos
  2. Allows buyers to shop through a beautifully animated interface
  3. Shows a video carousel on the homepage featuring real makers and their voices
  4. Offers an AI-powered gift suggestion tool (based on occasion, budget, and vibe)
  5. Supports verified seller badges for trust and authenticity
  6. Provides instant delivery (Mumbai-first, scalable to more cities) via Dunzo integration
  7. Uses Stripe for seamless payment processing
  8. Offers admin control for seller verification, delivery city management, and seasonal themes
