Inspiration
well i know how many times i have cracked my head trying to get my loved ones the perfect gift based on their preference and when i saw this hackathon, i was like damn i might as well create the first cultural taste gift recommendator
What it does
Gift Genius Ai is an AI + Qloo taste powered app that recommend you gifts based on users preference and you can also buy these gifts from the app straight to your loved ones
How we built it
i used Qloo taste API to get insights based on particular user taste like age, gender, hobbies, dislikes and others and it sends the data the an LLM which then processes it and gives the best result
Challenges we ran into
Accomplishments that we're proud of
i am proud of the fact that i finished this because the journey was hard and painful, i could not even finish as expected but i know how hard i worked
What we learned
i learnt resilience, the irony of this was that i set out to build a project but what i learnt along the way was not being a better programmer, it was sacrifice, determination and the will to keep going, even with limited resources i kept going and here i am

probably making it industry standard, for people to actually give gift that matters
