Inspiration
I have worked in an organisation where we had to manually keep track of a gift register to align with our Corporate Gift Policy. Most companies apply general principles of good Corporate Governance and ethics that set professional aspects and company policies that must be kept in mind before acceptance of or giving of gifts to colleagues, superiors, clients, suppliers a superiors.
What it does
It is a bot that automates the process of registering corporate gifts and going through a series of steps, checks and approvals from relevant people before finally accepting it in the registry.
How I built it
I used C# with Microsoft BotFramework and Azure
Challenges I ran into
Had alot to learn about Microsoft Teams, Bot Framework and Azure and deploying a beta version into the environments
