Inspiration

Ever wanted to convey a romantic gesture but lacked the inspiration for a gif. That's where Gif2LovedOne comes in.

What it does

Gif2LovedOne is an easy to use website that allows you to type in the category of gif, and the recipient's phone number and sends them a gif through Whatsapp

How we built it

I built Gif2LovedOne using Python, Flask, a gif finder API, and the Pywhatkit API to send Whatsapp messages

Challenges we ran into

I had difficulties in running the flask server while connecting it to the APIs

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of creating a functional website that I can use to send gifs to my family and friends.

What we learned

I learned how to connect APIs together and build a good looking website

What's next for Gif2LovedOne

I hope to make Gif2LovedOne an actual running website for the public
