Inspiration

GhostRelay was inspired by a simple question: why should secure and private networking be limited to large organizations with dedicated IT teams?

As I continued studying Computer Science and Network Security, I realized that many individuals, students, startups, and small organizations struggle to protect their communications because existing enterprise VPN and network management solutions are often expensive, difficult to configure, or require advanced technical knowledge.

Building GhostRelay became an opportunity to bridge that gap. The goal was to create a platform that combines secure VPN connectivity with an intuitive management experience, making modern network security more accessible without sacrificing functionality.

The project also became a personal challenge. I wanted to push beyond classroom assignments and build something that reflects real-world software engineering practices—from designing the architecture and implementing secure communication workflows to developing a polished user experience. GhostRelay represents my desire to transform the concepts I've learned in cybersecurity into a practical tool that solves real problems.
